The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia is a children's museum that, as its name implies, encourages children to touch and play with the exhibits. At first, Helena was overwhelmed and hesitant with all of the other children running around freely. However, when we reached the last exhibit, the grocery store, she was happy to join in the fun and do some food shopping!
Petting the piggies
Feeding corn to the sheep
Of course, Helena was most impressed with walking up and down the short flight of stairs (we had to pry here away to another exhibit)
"The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round..."

Posing in the monorail
Helena punching in to start work at the grocery store
Daddy, those Tastycakes have your name on them!
Mommy would be happy that I am getting fruits and vegetables as well!
Can you believe they make you ring up your own groceries?!?

Chicago - June, 2007
Daddy had a business trip in Chicago, so Mommy and Helena came along to enjoy the many sights that the city has to offer.
Mommy and Helena at the original Pizzeria Uno (Helena enjoyed the breadstick more than the best deep dish pizza in the world)
If you look closely, you can see Mommy and Helena in the Mirror Ball
Playing with cousin Benjy
Helena, Aunt Helene, and cousin Benjy
Mommy, next time can we go on a boat tour of the Chicago River?
