Helena was well-behaved while Jeff was in Washington, D.C. for two weeks so her reward was to go with Sara to the salon to get her nails done.

Jonathan's bottles are apparently insufficient to fill his belly so he has found other things to sustain his need for nourishment.

Jonathan's four-month doctor's visit

Jonathan is now 17 lbs, 2 oz. and he is 26 1/4 inches long. The doctor said he is the perfect size for a boy his age. He is now able to eat rice cereal and pureed vegetables. Let the fun of baby eating begin!

As if there needed to be a good excuse to take pictures, Jeff was away for work this week, and Sara thought he would appreciate seeing some pictures of Helena and Jonathan while he was gone.

This is out of order chronologically, but Great-Grandma Shirley and Great-Grandpa Harold came to visit a little over a week ago. There weren't many pictures from the weekend, but these two seemed appropriate to share.

Happy Anniversary!

Sara and Jeff celebrated their 5th anniversary in style - they dropped the kids off at daycare, and spent the day in Atlantic City trying not to gamble away Helena and Jonathan's college money!




How best can one say I love you? How about chocolate covered strawberries in a bouquet?

Jonathan is 4 months old!

How time flies! Jonathan is spending time in his exersaucer spinning around and tummy-time rolling onto his back (he still has yet to go from his back to his tummy). He talks up a storm, and loves sucking on his thumb (cheaper than pacifiers and hard to lose). Doctor's visit is not for another 10 days, so the stats update will be then.

We finally decided to sit down and video tape Helena playing her Barbie guitar and singing one of her made-up songs. Thank you Hannah Montana for corrupting my 3-year old!
