Over the weekend, Helena and her friend Alexa attended a children's tea at Sara's hotel that focused on etiquette. It will be interesting to see if this translates to Helena helping with setting the dinner table!

Happy Purim!
Helena was busy helping Mommy make hamentashen over the weekend
Jonathan could barely stay awake. He fell asleep while we were out shopping, and stayed asleep when he got placed in the shopping cart at Target.

Helena "asked" if she could go on a pony ride. My how times have changed!

Washington D.C. Weekend
This weekend we were in the Washington D.C. area for cousin Gabriel's Bar Mitzvah. The weather was nice on Friday when we went down so that we were able to walk around Georgetown and visit some of the sights on the Washington Mall before heading to Northern Virginia for the family event.
Helena has picked up her mother's love for baking and cooking. DC Cupcakes is featured on a show of the same name on The Learning Channel. Of course, we pre-ordered our half dozen cupcakes for pick up the day we arrived!
Johnny Rockets for lunch!
They should be paying us for this advertisement!
We promised Helena's teachers that we would get good pictures of her with the sights. This is a shot from the top step of the Lincoln Memorial east toward the Washington Monument.

Yes, we did bring Jonathan while we toured the sights. He napped during our 2 hour walk.
Helena asked whether she would get to see Obama while we visited the White House. I explained why that wouldn't happen, and later that night I learned that he was actually in Florida anyway.

Bowling Saturday night. Sadly, despite all the handheld technology at the bowling lanes, nobody has video of Jeff hitting a behind-the-back-and-through-the-legs strike.

February Mish-Mosh
Some random photographs to close out February
It's become somewhat of a regular thing that when Sara drops off Helana and Jonathan at daycare in the morning, they race to the window to wave and say goodbye as she gets in her car.
We're not sure what he did to get this, but Jonathan was named the inaugural "student of the month" in his class. Pretty impressive for a bunch of 18-24 month year olds!

Daddy, Jonathan, and Grandpa two weekends ago at cousin Sammy's wrestling tournament in NYC. Oh yeah, cousin Sammy won his weightclass!
