Michigan-Notre Dame Football Game - September, 2006

Helena may have been born on October 15, 2005, but her father refused to take Sara to the hospital until the Michigan-Penn State game finished (Michigan won on a last second play...and, as we all know, Helena was born the next day on October 16th).

This season, Michigan had two easy games to open up the season, but week three brought a game at Notre Dame. Helena was proud to celebrate with her parents and their friends as the Wolverines triumphed over the Fighting Irish. For better or for worse, Helena's first phrase might be Go Blue (she has already got the "Go" down pat)!!

Great-Grandma Shirley's Visit - September, 2006

Great-Grandma Shirley came to East Brunswick for a weekend to visit Helena and family.

Labor Day Weekend 2006 in Boston

Anniversaries - August, 2006

Helena got all dressed up to go out to dinner to celebrate her parent's second anniversary (August 15th) and her grandparent's annivesary (August 20th).

In August, Helena went with her parents to Lake George, NY and Montreal to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. It was Helena's first trip outside of the United States!

Florida - July, 2006

We went to Florida in July for a wedding, but also to see Helena's great-grandmother. This was not only Helena's first time on an airplane, but it was also her first time in a swimming pool.
