Let's Go Blue!

Jonathan and Helena made their first trip out to Ann Arbor, Michigan to visit the University of Michigan. The occasion was special because Michigan was playing Sara's alma mater, the University of Massachusetts, in football.

Boston Weekend

This past weekend we were in Boston to visit family and for Jeff to participate in the Pan Mass Challenge Bike ride.
Jeff driving the duck boat during the tour on the Charles River. He was the first "kid" to volunteer to take the wheel.

How else to celebrate biking 25 miles but to enjoy pizza on the drive home with a stop at Mystic Pizza.

July Catch-Up

I thought there were more pictures for this month, but this is all I found.

Central Park Zoo

We headed into New York City for Father's Day and went to the Central Park Zoo. Jonathan wiped out after a day in the big city. Helena too!

Happy Father's Day!

Daisy Bridging Ceremony

Yesterday, Helena graduated from a Daisy to a Brownie through a formal "bridging" ceremony that included an actual bridge. Helena was selected with two of her troop members to participate in the opening part of the ceremony with members of all age groups of Girl Scouts that discussed the virtures of being a Girl Scout.

Summer camp is almost here!

Helena's summer camp had a "preview" day to allow new campers, and returning campers, to mingle with the staff and take part in various camp activites. The family had a great time participating in most of the activities, and we all especially enjoyed making smores!
