January weekend

It's snowed every week this month. This last storm we got at least a foot and a half...on top of at least another half a foot of snow. Helena has been begging to make a snow person, and this last batch of snow was the best. Yesterday she also had her "hip hop" dance class.

1st snow 2011

We can't brag and say that we got a ton of snow, but it was enough to keep the kids (and Mommy and Daddy) home from school and work.




Helena desperately wanted to make a snowman, but the snow was too soft to mold. Mommy devised a better way to make a snowman (and less work). This one represented Helena.

This picture did not fit with the tub theme, and I was too lazy to put it in a separate posting. It is good to know, though, that Jonathan will come visit Daddy if he is ever behind bars.

Sweet and sassy for the new year!

Helena needed to get dolled up for our fancy New Year's Eve celebration at Pizzeria Uno. She had a fancy maincure and pedicure (courtesy of a gift card she received from Auntie Amanda and Uncle Blair for her birthday). Hope that everybody had an enjoyable and safe new year's celebration.

Last Snowstorm 2010

Today we got walloped with a blizzard that in some places brought two feet of snow. We got somewhere between a foot and a foot and a half, and that was more than enough fun plowing and shoveling out the driveway.

Holiday weekend in Atlatnic City!

There wasn't going to be much to do this weekend because of the Christmas holiday, so we invited Sara's family from Boston to join us for a few days in Atlantic City. Beside the adults taking time to gamble (Sara and my brother-in-law Ron did really well on the slots), the kids swam, watched movies, and went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum. Unfortunately, we had to rush out of town early Sunday morning to avoid the impending blizzard!
