A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words - June 16, 2009

On our ride from the ferry to our hotel in Rehoboth, Sara noticed an advertisement on a billboard for the restaurant Hooter's that stated "Kids Eat Free on Tuesday nights." As luck would have it, the day we arrived in Rehoboth was Tuesday, and the Hooter's was literally located around the block from our hotel. In response to Sara's serious inquiry as to whether it would be ok to go to Hooter's for dinner that night, Jeff's response was supposedly, "If that's where you want to go for dinner, who am I to say no?!?!"

Obviously, the dinner at Hooters that night was enjoyed by all, other than Helena getting freaked out by the person dressed up like Sponge Bob Squarepants (she had a similar reaction to the characters at Sesame Place and a person dressed up like Diego the Explorer at a friend's birthday party). Of course, as it was Jonathan's first visit to Hooters, it was only appropriate that he get this picture taken with our waitress, as seen below. Below that picture we have included what we think Jonathan may have been thinking while the picture was taken. We would encourage you to post your comments as to what you think he was thinking, and if we like what you have to say, maybe we'll send you a copy of the picture.

We weren't sure whether or not Jonathan was going to sleep through the meal, so we took this photo to memoralize his visit just in case

"If you think I'm a cutie, you should see my Daddy!"

"Winner winner, chicken dinner!"

"Sorry Daddy; if not for me, you would be getting your picture taken with her instead!"

"I'm two months old and look what I was able to score!"

"Mommy and Daddy, this is the best vacation ever!"
